Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2021, Volume 22, Issue 4,   Pages 488-502 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2000443

Abstract: This paper presents an empirical study of the and (AoA) in an urban micro (UMi) scenario at 28 GHzAt present, most UMi measurements are conducted in the and then the situation is inferred assuming channelAlthough the channel correlation coefficient of the and can be as high as 0.8, this does not mean thatOnly a real measurement can accurately describe its channel conditions, and this is what this studyBy comparing our measurement with those in standard channel models, we verify that the AoA of clusters

Pressure Drop Characteristics of Flow Boiling in Microchannel With Low Aspect Ratio

Zhang Binglei,Xu Jinliang and Xiao Zejun

Strategic Study of CAE 2007, Volume 9, Issue 12,   Pages 86-93

Abstract: Pressure drops of flow boiling in a single microchannel having low aspect ratio were studied with effects of the inlet temperature, mass flux, heat flux and the inclined angle using methanol as working fluid. The present experimental data were compared with the predictions of the homogeneous flow model and separated flow model respectively. The comparison indicates that the homogeneous flow model cannot predict the twophase pressure drop well except using the twophase viscosity model of the Dukler correlation. With the existing correlations for parameter C in LockhartMartinelli correlation such as Chisholm,Lee and Lee,Mishima,Qu and Mudawar , separated flow model also failed to predict the twophase pressure drop in the microchannel of this study . The experimental data in this work show that the interaction between vapor phase and liquid phase is decreased with the increasing quality when the quality reach a certain value , accordingly there needs a correlation for C which decreased with the decreasing mass flux .A new correlation to predict the twophase flow pressure drop in microchannels was developed in the form of the LockhartMartinelli correlation .It includes the effect of the hydraulic diameter and the effect of mass flux on the twophase flow pressure drop in microchannels .The new correlation developed in this study predicted the experimental data within a mean absolute error of 16.9%.

General closed-form inverse kinematics for arbitrary three-joint subproblems based on the product of

Frontiers of Mechanical Engineering 2022, Volume 17, Issue 2, doi: 10.1007/s11465-022-0681-7

Abstract: The novel algebraic geometric (NAG) methods that obtain the general closed-form inverse kinematics forindicating that the inverse solutions are consistent with the given joint angles validate the general closed-formAdditionally, the mean and maximum of the master–slave tracking experiment for the closed-form solutionThe experiments results demonstrate that the closed-form solution is superior to the compensation methodThe results verify the proposed general closed-form inverse kinematics based on the NAG methods.

Efficient decoding self-attention for end-to-end speech synthesis Research Article

Wei ZHAO, Li XU

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2022, Volume 23, Issue 7,   Pages 1127-1138 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2100501

Abstract: has been innovatively applied to text-to-speech (TTS) because of its parallel structure and superior strength in modeling sequential data. However, when used in with an autoregressive decoding scheme, its inference speed becomes relatively low due to the quadratic complexity in sequence length. This problem becomes particularly severe on devices without graphics processing units (GPUs). To alleviate the dilemma, we propose an (EDSA) module as an alternative. Combined with a dynamic programming decoding procedure, TTS model inference can be effectively accelerated to have a linear computation complexity. We conduct studies on Mandarin and English datasets and find that our proposed model with EDSA can achieve 720% and 50% higher inference speed on the central processing unit (CPU) and GPU respectively, with almost the same performance. Thus, this method may make the deployment of such models easier when there are limited GPU resources. In addition, our model may perform better than the baseline Transformer TTS on out-of-domain utterances.
